The game where you face dilemmas together.

Always be prepared to fight for what is right, just like our brave scouts did.

What is Tweestrijd?

Tweestrijd is a game that has been specially developed to celebrate 80 years of freedom in the Netherlands. It is a game that is most suitable for ages 11–17. The game can be played repeatedly within the group.

Through dilemmas and assignments, you experience what it is like to make choices in difficult situations. You are challenged to make complicated choices with corresponding consequences.

In a new world of fear and control

What would you do?

It is a difficult time in the Netherlands, there is a lot of unrest in society. General Martinus promises to put an end to the chaos and make the country great again. Behind the scenes he works together with his followers: The Order of the New Order, also known as ONO. When a message comes out that many people in parliament cannot be trusted, Martinus seizes his opportunity. With the help of the army he manages to take power over the Netherlands. To the Dutch people he presents himself as the great savior.

General Martinus immediately introduces strict rules to maintain his power, such as curfews and street patrols. The media are also censored and people who are against Martinus disappear. The lives of the six scouts - Lisa, Arjen, Layla, Michael, Diede and Ismael - also changed drastically. When they come together, they decide that they can no longer stand by and watch. Together they are going to make a difference. They know it is going to be difficult, but they have hope. What choices would you make in their shoes?

Absolutely effective

As staff you can also have fun by sparking a discussion and bringing up arguments about what a possible consequence could be, without actually naming the consequences.

The game was put together really well.

For some scouts still a bit too difficult in terms of empathy. But after the final film there was a dead silence and then a huge applause. That says enough.

The dilemmas have an influence on the further course of events

The scouts definitely enjoyed it. At a certain point they were really busy with all the games. For us it even filled the entire meeting. 120 min game, we attached our own variant of discussion/group conversation to it and then the 3 hours were already over.
